Undergraduate Course Description

BSD 101 Prayer and Fasting: This course exposes the student to the prayer pattern taught by Jesus Christ to His disciples. Areas to be considered include the prayer model taught by Jesus Christ, meaning, purpose, parties, and the effectiveness of prayer. Other areas to be covered include praying in tongues, intercessory prayer, importance of prayer, hindrances to prayer, and the sin of prayerlessness.

BSD 102 Praise and Worship:
This course discusses the purpose for which mankind was created. The student will learn that God has created mankind for fellowship. God desires a relationship, and He is calling humanity to have a relationship with Him. The course demonstrates the meaning of praise and worship, the preeminence of worship, the heart of worship, worship and the trinity, approaches to God, intimacy with God, and worship as a living sacrifice.

BSD 103 Repent and Believe:
This course examines the content of New Testament salvation. The course introduces the student to the statement Jesus Christ made in Mark 1:15. ………“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” The student will learn about what it means to repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.

BSD 104 Baptism with the Holy Spirit:

BCL 201 Spiritual Authority:
This course introduces the student to the authority that Christ has given to every one of His followers. Students will learn the nature, purpose and purpose of the Christian's authority in Christ. The course will also discuss the believer's authority to cast out demons and  heal the sick.  

BCL 202 Evangelism:
This course teaches the student how to lead people to Jesus Christ. It attempts to assist the student with practical approaches to personal evangelism. The course gives consideration to how to initiate conversation with an individual, present Jesus Christ to him/her, and lead him/her to Jesus Christ.

BTH 303 Doctrine of Christ: This course discusses the deity, person, names, and ministries of

BTH 304 Doctrine of Holy Spirit:
This course discusses the deity, person, names, and the works of the Holy Spirit.

BTH 305 The Kingdom of God

BTH 306 Man and Sin

BTH 307 Salvation

BTH 308 New Testament Church
